Who we are
Montana Wedding Entertainment is a Montana-based wedding entertainment company specializing in cinematic, high-end wedding production. Andrew, the owner, personally DJs and MCs every wedding — clients never get handed to a subcontractor. The company has produced more than 500 weddings across Montana, from intimate ranch ceremonies to full-weekend destination events at mountain resorts.
The approach is deliberately un-gimmicky: clean, properly mixed sound; a polished MC who keeps the timeline moving without dominating it; and lighting that makes the room look like the photographs the couple hoped for.
Services
Wedding DJ & MC
Reception DJ and master of ceremonies: curated music across cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, plus announcements, introductions, toasts and special dances. Music planning is collaborative, with must-play and do-not-play lists agreed in advance.
Ceremony sound
Dedicated ceremony sound system with wireless lapel and handheld microphones, seating music, processional and recessional cues — engineered for Montana's outdoor venues, wind and open-air settings.
Lighting design
Uplighting on walls, beams and tent structures, dance-floor lighting, and accent washes matched to the couple's palette. Lighting is designed per venue rather than dropped in as a generic package.
Photo booth
Attended open-air photo booth with props, custom print templates and instant prints or digital sharing. Available inside a package or as a standalone booking.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a wedding DJ cost in Montana?
It depends on coverage hours, whether ceremony sound is included, and how much lighting design is added — a four-hour Missoula reception and a full-production Big Sky destination weekend price very differently. Montana Wedding Entertainment quotes each wedding individually rather than publishing fixed prices; the instant quote form returns exact pricing for a specific date, venue and package.
Do you travel?
Yes. Based in Missoula and traveling statewide — Bozeman, Kalispell, Whitefish, Big Sky, Helena, Great Falls, Billings, Butte, Flathead Lake and remote ranch or mountain venues. Travel is quoted up front with no surprise fees.
Who actually shows up on the wedding day?
Andrew, the owner. The person who plans the wedding is the person who runs it.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak weekends from June through early October usually book 8–14 months out; September is now as in demand as June.
Can we choose the music?
Yes — every booking includes a planning consultation covering must-play songs, special dances and a do-not-play list. Guest requests are screened against that list.
Are you insured, and what happens if equipment fails?
Liability insurance is carried and accepted by Montana venues, and every event travels with redundant sound, microphones and playback.
Do you provide ceremony sound separately from the reception?
Yes — The Prelude package covers ceremony sound on its own, and ceremony sound can be added to any reception package.
